Are these real or fake? Thanks for the help!!!
...at least I am 95% sure that this is what organisation this hat belongs to. There is very little written about this organisation, and my limited research reflects that the purpose of the DRB-WSP was to protect rolling stock during transfer to watercraft for transport by sea. I cannot find any pics of this organisation, nor the regs for the same, but they did exist--they even had their own dagger (albeit only about 6 exist in collections to this day).
Apparently, they were absorbed by the Bahnschutzpolizei in 1941, and therefor never transitioned to the new insignia:
I found a Nazi knife/dagger in my grandmothers basement. Almost 100% positive it's the real thing. My great uncle was in the army in WWII.
It's a jagged knife the point is square. On the handle is a wide cross and underneath it is the swatika. all surrounded by a eagle.
I has looking for any information.
Worth?
If you can't help can you send me in the right direction?
I also have a bayonet I found with it.
Hey guys....Here's my newest SS buckle. It's my first early Overhoff - so I'm quite happy to have it added to the buckle collection. I have a considerable number of buckles....but that said: only 2 SS......One early Overhoff and one late Overhoff. Would like to find a nice RODO with lots of paint remaining - but that battle will be fought some other time!
Here are some pics of the new addition. It included a combat belt - but no SS markings so no way of knowing if these were always together. But interesting to note that the belt was shortened in a very different manner.
Usually the belt is shortened on the end where the buckle slips on .... this one was shortened on the other side where you find the buckle clip! Looks period done and interesting to see who the leather was cut and "re-folded" over.
Cheers!

Hello all,
Can anyone tell me the difference between the M40 and M43 German WW2 helmets, and are the liners interchangable?
The picture is of an M40, (I was told), the liner has a (??) XII 43 marking.
Many thanks for any info.
Cheers,
navyman.
Guys, I've had this set for a long time but I'm not sure if they go together. Thought you'd like to have a look. Regards, Hal PS; The stamp on the belt did not show in pic, but It reads 7.39 B.A. Fu.
