Gentlemen, I need help identifying this buckle. I'm sure this will be easy for the buckle collectors. I don't collect buckles (Yet ! :D) so I don't have any reference books. I always assumed it was some type of SA buckle until I researched a bit on various websites. I believe it is an early SA type buckle worn by HJ before they developed their own unforms. I also saw this type of buckle identified as an NSKK type on another website. Any help would be appreciated.

I bought this with a belt and a dress dagger many years ago. The buckle measures 2 1/2 inches long by 2 inches wide. I don't know if this qualifies it as the miniature type worn by youth since I don't have anything to compare it to. There is no maker marking on the buckle. The belt is approximately 34 inches with a nice maker marking and date on the leather tab. The belts feels like synthetic material or rubber & lacks the outer surface. Maybe it was a patent leather type that was stripped off at some point. The dagger is nicely marked but is missing the portepee.

Would the Board please comment on useage of captured Russian Tokarev pistols as used by the Germans during the War?

I have several excellent reference books showing German pistols as being used/issued/captured (Italian, Norwegian, Czech, etc.)BUT I have nothing that comments on Tokarev's or Nagant revolvers being used.

Has anyone seen photos of the German Military (individual soldiers) using such pistols...or even showing a soldier with one on his hip ?

Hello Everyone,
I've been offered a Heer & Police belt buckle. Comparing them with the examples on this forums database. To my eyes, the Heer buckle looks OK ( crisp detail on the reverse, along with makers stamp). The police buckle I'm not so sure of, no makers mark, reverse detail doesn't look so sharp, but then what do I know. Can anyone help me out on these two buckles.

Hi guys, a friend asked to me some info about these 2 helmets and their SS decals.
This is not my field of study, so i ask to you to give your experts opinion about.
For me these are both fakes, but i don't know why and which tipe of decal them are. I don't know also if the camo is ok or not...

Hello, i have joined today for your help, my great grandad got a German Heer belt off a dead german soldier, i cant provide a photo so i will describe the best i can.

Behind the buckle it is marked 88N 37

On the leather it is marked 1937, and then there is a factory stamp but i cant make out the words, its in a oval shape.


Any ideas on how much it might be worth?

It has been used it has the mud and everything still stuck to the buckle inside, the buckle is still attacthed the original leather belt.

hi i just got this live bullet given to me and wonderd are there many still about?
i think its a lebel ww1 bullet?
