Kaukasisches SS Btl

Hello experts,

a good friend from germany found this tag with some very nice other ss items. It seems that this is made of stainless steel? I know that most ss tags I found were made of zink, and sometimes Alu.

Can you give me information about this tag? Is it 100% original? Rare? What was this unit?

Many thx for your help.

Language Chart Booklets

Found these at the car boot sale.
I have not come across these booklets before, they have no print dates in them, I guess they would have been printed shortly after WW11.

Forum member “Tank”: get well soon!

Hi Guys, our forum friend "Tank" has not been well of late and has been diagnosed with a brain tumour. He is a young man of 21. He has his operation to remove the growth this coming Thursday. Tank is a member of the same living history group as myself, 2nd Guards. We nicknamed him "Tank" as he is a big lad! His real name is Craig.

At times like these messages of support can go a long way in keeping spirits up. If you would like to add any comments here or on a special "Facebook" page set up by his family please do so:
