For sale: Relic Ardennes find mg42

Ardennes relic mg 42. This is in very good condition for a relic, has no internals such as bolt spring etc, probably stripped out by machine gun crew before discarding to fall back/retreat. The breech cover opens freely and cocking handle can be pulled back and fourth and the flash eliminator can screwed on and off.
It has been deactivated so barrell can no longer be removed. Included is a belt of inert rounds later tripod and bakerlite grips.

Willing to trade for ww2 relic pistols or aircraft machine gun.

Best offer over £450.00 secures it

Weird sweatband

You've no doubt seen it on the other forum but has anyone here seen anything like this before that was deemed legit?

Have You Flown in the B-25?

In the Chicagoland area, we have the opportunity to fly in the B-25 every year about this time.

Anybody have any experiences?

“Find” in backyard not lawnmower scrap

I'm sure the UK guys saw this story in the Mail, but for those that didn't:

Father-of-two poses for photograph after digging up unexploded anti-tank grenade | Mail Online

The homeowner found the UXB in his backyard, and thinking it a piece of a lawnmower, brought it in and photographed himself with it. It was live.

Luckily, he had second thoughts and did a bit of interwebs research on h is find...and then called bomb disposal authorities.

Thoughts?

Wanted: WWII Sovier Tank Corps Officer Shoulder Boards Wanted

I am seeking an original WWII pair of Soviet tank corps officer shoulder boards, complete with original metal tank devices on each board.

Of course, I would love to buy a complete tunic, but would be happy to find the original shoulder boards.

Thank you,

Day of the SS Dagger eagles

Hi relic hunter friends.

Here the fairy tale to the added finds. The story from the old people living in the small mountain-village was that during war a Reichszeugmeisterei has been in the centre of the town, and after war all items which had been produced and stored were thrown away. Well these were not the only findings we made there, but imo the most interesting. I will post some other finds later on.

The eagles are mainly made of brass and marked as seen on the pics. Very rare eagles made of Alu were found (i only have 3). And the highlight are the SS enemals…poorly the years have damaged most of them.

I added some eagles, cleaned, uncleaned…and the enemals

Hope you like them!!! :)

ps: to be fair, I have been there one then one times, and this are they findings of several trips

WTK: Are P-38 with matching mags unusual? text

I have seen many P-38's lately for sale and some quite good in example.....Would the Board comment on rareity of an AC-41 (Walther) P-38 (subvariation 2) with its original and matching magazine? ie. magazine matches the serial number of the gun itself (frame, slide, small parts, etc.).

My thinking would be that it would be pretty rare to find such an animal....

thank you.
