The cheapest original gravity knife that I can find on the internet is for $150 and has a broken spring. It hasn't got a bid yet so I feel like it is high priced. I don't really need one to perfectly function so I would like to get one that is a project that I am not afraid to destroy to tinker and try to get it to work. I know these knifes are somewhat tricky legally so I probably should get it from one of the members already stateside. If you have anything laying around let me know.
thanks
Sam
Hi Guys, as these are always popular items, I thought that I would share this with you. Bought locally two weeks ago from just a few miles up the road from me. It was a very good buy and came with a KM dagger and an RZM SA (minus scabbard) and K98 bayonet.
The blade is not in great condition. I am told the Veteran who brought it home used it to dig out weeds from his garden :shok_yikes:
But the scabbard and chains make up for this. Just look at the original black burnishing and protective lacquer to the 2nd pattern chains.
Cheers, Ade.
Hi,
I think this is war related, I can see the year 1942 in the document text but it is dating from 1948, so I think, if I am right, it is connected to the war?
Who can see and tell what body issued it, all them rubber-stamps on the left, hand-writing and subject of text?
Thanks,
Neil.
Hi guys ! Original WW2 or post war ?
I translate the above to mean: "occupation match" 1957, so I assume this pin was issued to celebrate a match between the Germans and the who? Americans? Russians? Both? Does anybody know anything about this pin? It is Brass, and approx. 24 mm long. The back is pierced, so no names. Thanks.
I have found two WWII Japanese flight helmets, one of which I may buy.
#1 Army summer flight helmet:
The seller says:
" The helmet is complete but shows wear and use telling us that this particular example didn't sit in a storage depot somewhere but was actually worn by a Japanese Pilot during the war. There are sweatstains around the edge of the helmet and the lining shows wear and use." (which in the pics, there is)
Should I believe this?
#2 Japanese winter flight helmet:
The seller says:
"Nice quality leather helmet with rabbit fur lining. No damage to be seen, just shows light wear and use."
Were the winter flight helmets used only in the winter, or did the pilots wear them because it gets cold when you are flying high?
(cant upload pics right now, my computer will not let me?????)
Many Thanks

Hello, I've been collecting German militaria for about 5 years now(strange for a 21 year old female I know) , and this tunic that I have in my collection has always intrigued me; I got it at an auction and it was claimed that it came from a factory in Russia, all things seem to indicate a genuine article here, but if anyone can shed any light on what type of soldier would have worn this it would be great!
