I bought this from the delightful lady who wore it in Cairo during the war while she was acting as a office supervisor for the military court system. Her name is Molly Sonnenberg and what was amusing is her husband was a Sgt and had to carry around a letter saying it was OK for him to fraternise with this woman!

I saw this helmet on ebay and i didnt go for it i came back late at home and i started to research the forum for similar helmet with the kind of liner and chinstrap it have . I found one thread that effectivly have the same chinstrap so it answer one question .What bother me now is the liner is it ww2 or post war or another variant that another country used after the war .Maybe civilian helmet ????

No markings on this one, blade is very sharp and thin and also quite short as you can notice. Got it from my grandfather in Finland 20 years ago. Can anyone recognise the type?

Hi whats your opinion on this one, I know its Finnish and the compass too but the canvas on the bottle is different from what the Finns used in WW2 could it be ss? I would be thankful for any help. One salty bastard for sure ;)

I gave up on the SS tags. ;) If this need to be moved, go ahead, but thought while all the experts are talking tags, thought I would show these also.
If the ones with the neck strings are real, what do they say? I would like to have one of those. In fact, If they are all real, what do they say, if you know?
