I was given this belt buckle by the widow of a man who visited Germany in 1950 during a break from college. I was helping her clean out as she was moving and it was among the things she gave me in payment. He didn't write much about the trip but I know Europe had to have been just totally destroyed still at the time. I don't really know anything about it. There are no makers markings on the belt buckle itself. The leather tab has an oval with a maker name but all I can read is the city: Ludensheid. Below the oval the tab is dated 1942. There is little to no wear on this piece. If it was issued it was not used much. If you can tell me anything about it I would appreciate it. I also am looking for a ballpark price as this might go in the for sale or trade section soon. Mainly though I want to know what it is.
thanks

I am thinking about mounting my No.1 MkIII SMLE Lee Enfield and my K98 Mauser on my wall. How should I do this without damaging the rifles? Any ideas are great, so post anything you might know.
Many Thanks :)
I need opions on weather I should buy this helmet or not. The person who is selling it said it was an authentic WWII german helmet and it was complete. I would really like your opions on weather you think this helmet is authentic or not. Also what kind of helmet is this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank-You
Hi guys, I'm considering buying this cap from a dealer and wanted some opinions from the experts. Would this be a good example of a Pekuro peaked cap ? It looks to be in excellent condition with no mothing. It still retains beautiful lines. I'd like some input before I spend part of the month's rent on another piece. :D
Thanks, Al
Hey guys....I recently acquired some new pieces for my collection in a vet lot and these items were part of it. I'm just wondering what they were used for? Any and all info would be greatly appreciated! Cheers!
