Sorry to have been a stranger for awhile gents. I'm in Arizona USA setting up a stateside office for my business and have really been busy. The nice thing about being back in the states is being able to enjoy my guns again. I have promnised folks I would post the guns I was able to bring with me here. So I will start with my M-1 Garand. I got it through the DCM program in 85 when I was on the Army shooting team at the nationals at Camp Perry. It is an arsenal rebuild and in much nicer shape than most that came out of that program. An International Harvester. I will post a few more of my guns tomorrow.

Hi everyone,
I recently acquired a large lot of original medals/insignia from a seller I trust and have bought many things from in the past. The items were for the most part acquired back in the 60's and 70's or earlier and were from his personal collection. I have found many of his items to be of great quality in the past and I think this primarily has to do with the market at that time having been slightly less flooded with fakes. That being said, there are a few items in the lot that seemed to raise red flags to me as well. I would ultimately like to list most of the items here, but figured it would be best to list them a few at a time. I'll try to list them over the next few weeks.
The first photos are of two party pins. The one on the left seems like a fake to me (cracking enamel, larger space between the "S-L", lack of maker's marks). The second pin, however, seems ok, but I just wanted to check. The next item is an SS stick pin. I heard that these are rare, but the pin seems very nice and looks like others I have seen online. The face of the pin seems to be of good quality and is smooth. Once again, would really appreciate any opinions or comments anyone has.
Thanks again!
Nick
This is my first Panzerkampf Abzeichen. It looks good to me there is no makers mark.
Is there a way to tell what maker made it?
Thanx for looking
Hello, I could use some opinions on this cap I'm considering buying. I know it's nothing exotic but I've had a bad track record with headgear lately and I can't afford another mistake. I don't see any markings. I appreciate any input. Thanks, Al
does anyone know the best place to look for ww2 german photos , tanks, artilliary , heavy equpt, etc ,i want to buy, thanks, shane , and everyone be safe and enjoy the 4th of July
This is my medal & badge collection thus far. Most of these I've owned for at least 10 years. I've weeded out the items that were shown to be reproductions by knowledgable members of this forum. I'm sure there are few in this group that might be questionable. My only recent accquisitions are the SA Sports Badge & DRl Badge. There is a lso a Spanish medal in the bunch. Unfortunately my impulse is always to buy before doing extensive research on an item which is a real pitfall in this hobby. I am now being more careful when I buy items and hope to add nicer pieces to my collection. Thanks to everyone that has helped me out over the last few weeks. Enjoy the pics. :D Al
This is i believe an original dog tag to the Estonian Legion however the 3 has been added in front of the Kp at some time after WW2 as the originals when issued had no number stamped on them.
