He was killed 27/7/41 near Kucies. Where is that? A basic Google search did not yield much. I think it is in Moldolva.

Just two finds on a recent Normandy trip - close to St Lo, what I assume to be a mortar fuse and an M1 case. The live round was found along with a number of cases closeby some months earlier.

Things have dried up despite my research getting better. Anyone have the best settings for a Minelab Xterra70?

Hi Guys, just discovered this site where there are lots of Russian war films to watch for free. Some classics including "Звезда" and "9 Рота". Obviously all are in Russian, but I enjoy watching foreign films to try and improve my language skills, which are somewhat lacking!

This one is a bit interesting. A late war assembled at Steyr. The grips on it are post war repros. It came with cast aluminum grips, exactly like the early war style only cast aluminum. I couldn't find them in the storage container to post. Sorry.
When I first got it, I assumed it was reblued. But it seems to be the original finish. All matching except an unnumbered mag. Wish I knew the provenece on this one.
