Last week I bought these radios. They were found in a barn only 10 kilometres from my house. Since I am not a radioman I need your help to identify them. I also wonder if they are rare, and what the marked value is
Best regards agv44
These 2 lids were found after the battles between the Tito partisans and the german troops on the hills surrounding my town. they are both battle damaged too.
They are just ordinary relic lids, but for me they are special since I know their story and how brutal were the fights around here.
These wrecks are on my local MOD firing ranges, a lot of the parts have been taken as trophes, from people who have shot at them in exercises. Someone has even taken the doors off one!
Another relic lid with wire just off my shelves cool militaria
Also this one come from the Südfront
Here's an helmet which saw some action on the südfront.
It has traces of camo paint and the internal rim.
Does anybody have an approximate date for when the British 36m Mk1 Mills hand grenade was first issued ?
Also the cup discharging plates .. when were they first used with the 36m Mk1. ?
And to finish ... was the colour gold painted onto 36m Mk1's to indicate rifle discharge units ?

Hi, mates !
Wanna show you a sleeve-badge of the Mountain troop´s of the Schutz-Staffel.
The Edelweiss of the Waffen-SS was larger, than the common Edelweiss of the Wehrmacht Mountain-troop´s and different in the design.
Cheers,
R.
