A nice German 2 cm flak round found near a position on the Dutch German border near Roermond in the Elmpter Vald. Unfortunately it was live so went straight back in the ground. The casing was brass so was in excellent condition.

In my small collection, I have a few bayonets with leather scabbards. They are from WW1 or before, and I am worried about them drying out. Is there any thing which I could apply which would preserve the leather, I know that once the leather is dried out it is a done deal.
Hello All,
I'm thinking about opening out my collecting field, moving into Cloth Headgear. This cap is up for sale at a local auction house is it original ?and how much do they trade for, I want to put a reasonable bid in. This is the only photo I have. Its a new field to me.
Best Wishes
Here is some pics of a WW2 Japanese sword & belt, I bought from a Vet long ago. Sword is dated '44. It is a showato. It is signed Takehisa Saku. The mounts are fairly standard Army mounts. The saya is painted black. The tassel is for a lower grade officer, Lt.
This has the sarute (monkey's hands) tassel loop, "Clasped hands" The sayajiri was missing when I got it, and found a fairly close replacement, otherwise all original, matching and untouched, except someone poorly shrpened the blade and is scratched up a bit. I like the sword none the less.
The sword belt came with it from the Vet. An interesting variation.

G'day All :)
Long time viewing, first time posting...
Can I get some advice on this SS Bevo Trapezoid, does it look legit? Unfortunately, that's the only photo I have of it, without requesting a closeup.
I tend to steer away from SS items, but this one's come up for sale in Australia and I'd be interested to hear from some of the "War Relics" gurus.
Cheers
