Had to drop the wife at the local (Munster) Flohmarkt before work this morning. Thought I'd have a quick squint before leaving her.

Got the following:

Post war 2 USSR hats and 1 DDR.

American 1st aid tin not dated?

Panzerhandlampe big heavy thing, battery opperated

RZM M6/1/39 mess tin missing handle sadly.

RZM M24 belt cross strap.

Thats it but I had to go to work!!!

Here's another medal group with its bar as well. A long serving officers group spanning 14/18 and 39/45, he was killed in Aug 41 in Russia, as i also have award docs wehrpass and other items for him.

I recently bought several german books and this one was included in the group. When I opened it I discovered that it had been dated and signed. Also inside were these three prints that mention the author and are produced by the same publishing company. I don't speak German but I assume its about WWI. I tried to find out if he wrote anything else but couldn't find anything. The author has a really neat signature so I figured I would share it with everyone.

Hey Guys,

I've aquired some battlefied, ground dug relics from the Ardenne Forest. I'm told that they're possibly American, but I'm having trouble identifying just exactly WHAT they are!

I'm wondering if I post some pics, would any of you guys be able to help me identify them.

I have family in the Stuttgart area and was wondering if anyone knows of any WW2 museums in that area.
Am I right in thinking Rommels birth place is around there somewhere and if so is it open to visitors?
