I'm just wondering how your wife's or partners react to your collecting? :D

My missus just can't understand why I spend so much money on WW2 Relics, or as she calls it ............. CRAP!! :D

I've had countless cross words and arguements over my collecting! Despite my insistence that my collection is my boys inheritence, and will only continue to grow in value, she still thinks I'm wasting my time and money!! Haha!!

I'm curious to see if anyone else has this 'problem', or have I really settled down with Adolf Hitlers grand-daughter!! Lol

I'm new to the forum, and I thought I'd join in and post a couple of pics of my little collection.

I've only been collecting for just over 6 months. I was made redundant on 24th Dec (merry christmas eh) so I've had vast amounts of time on my hands, and I decided to finally get to grips with my hobby.... much to the delight of the missus! :weep:

Hello again,

This one is a complete stab in the dark!

I bought a few bits and pieces a while back, and the guy sent me these 'free gifts'. When I asked him what they were, he didnt know! lol

All he said was he found them at an old ww2 arms storage depot, along with other relic items. bullets, mags ect

Ive recently purchased, what I was lead to beleive, was an exploded German anti-personnel mine. But after bringing it home, and researching it (which i always do) I'm struggling to identify it.

The closest match I've found is an American M3, but this mine seems a little longer than the M3

200mm x 75mm x 50mm

Any help would be brilliant.
