Every time i see a so called small collection by one of the members i am having a little smile cause i know that there is smaller collection than what they have and i have one of them .But like they say Rome has not been built in 3 days ............ ...and this is not the largest size naval flag produced. My understanding is that this size was used on Destroyer class ships. It is Kriegsmarine marked with the old Imperial style eagle over "M". I know it is TR, but I bought it (recently sold it) because it looks very Imperial. This same style was used at Hindenburg's funeral at Tannenberg in 1934.

Very interesting is the SILVER mark on the brooch along with all of the standard Silver hallmarks.
