Hello all collector friends!
For M vacation is over and it's time to work hard again. I'd like to share My best summer find with You. I found the visor earlier and the M/35 jacket two weeks ago, I just love Red Air Force items....:p
Hi Guy's,
As some of you probably know, Harry Patch, the U.K's last survivor of WW1 passed away this morning at 9a.m BST.
Harry fought at Passchendaele in 1917, and was later wounded badly enough as not to serve again. He was also briefly Britains oldest citizen, aged 111, after the death of Henry Allingham last week. A modest man, the last of a noble and brave generation has gone.
God bless you Harry, and thankyou.
Regards, Ned.
Hi all what do you think of this one can you help with the maker
Hi all,
I've recently aquired a WW2 German field letter dated Nov 1941. Are there any German speakers in the forum who could possibly translate this letter for me?
Kind regards,
Lee

Hi Chaps. I received this Tunic yesterday. I am happy with the tunic although the moths have had a field day. I am not so sure about the collar. I think that this collar may have been added to the tunic at a later stage. This collar does not have the ZIG ZAG stitching that we have all come to expect. I have sought advice and been advised that not all collars had the ZIG ZAG stitching. I would be obliged if any one could advise.
Cheers
Andy
