M40 Heer, “Big Hole”, Holland.

Hello,

this is my German Heer M40 helmet, it is found in Holland in the "big hole", that is why it has a crack in the afterpart. After the surrender, the dammeged the helmet by a piccle and put in to the ground.
I cleaned and restore this helmet. I put in org.liner, pines and stripe. They came off a M35, SE62, that one has no paint on the shell, but is from WW2, so i change liner and strip.

Greetings, Mark from Holland.

Possible Waffen SS polizei

Hello, i am new on this forum,

I have a M35 double decal helmet helmet, found in the ground off Belguim, when i bought it on a militairia (market), excuus for grammatical i am Dutch, it shows the a mark off a left decal. I bought it. When i cleaned the helmet with household products a richt decal appiret. I thought waffen SS. A few months later, i showed the helmet on the Dutch WW2 war site and i brought the helmet back to the market again. On the site the response is neutral and on the militairia market they said probbilly SS polizei. All the people said i can not claim it SS, butt the showed their respect for this M35. (strange).

If you can see, the right decal sown some rune and have a black stripe on the outside off the decal, the helmet is "Appegroen".
I know, the pictures could be better, butt i try.
Please can you help me, greetings, Mark, from Holland.

Looking for advice (beginer to german kit)

Hey guys,
The group im with recently decided to form a german para unit to tie in with our 82nd ariborne squad thats already up and running. So im setting down my panzer kit and going to begin gathering kit. But first off i wanted some guys to help guide me along the way.
First off i was wanting to know when the Tan and Water camo was available to the para's. Our group is trying to keep in line with the normandy theatre. But i am not sure if im stuck with the splinter pattern or if i can add a bit of diversity to my own kit.
Any and all help is really appreciated :)

John.
