Here are 2 jump jackets worn in the ETO.
The first is an 82nd with 1st model jump pants and jump boots.
Also shown are the air vents for the underarms. The jacket zipper is Conmar and the jump switch blade pocket at the top of the jacket zipper below the collar is Conmar.
The 101st has a Crown zipper for the jacket body and Talon for the knife pocket.
I have an M1 Carbine here that i want to find out a little more about it like where it has been and who used it...
On the top of the barrel it says: INLAND MFG.DIV. GENERAL MOTORS 5-44
The serial number is: 5193754
Can anyone help me?
So I ask it again, do you guys think it's worth it?
It's $109 before shipping and I don't believe it has the ribbon.
Also, it's maker marked 55.
Ok .. a couple of questions on about the MK4 "Lift dot" wartime issue British "Turtle" Helmet.
1) Was there any run in the early production where the stainless steel rim was not fitted to the Mk4 "Turtle". ?
2) Was the MkII steel helmet chin strap ever used on the early MK3's and Mk4's ... or were they the straight elasticated Mk3/Mk4 type.

This piece has no markings and I would like to know anything you may be able to tell me about it.
Hi Guys,
I wondered if anyone here ever heard of a artist named
L. Pasetti
I think he was specialised in wartime drawings.
I have a few original pieces of him that i bought in a lot with some other documents & papers.
I included a photo of a drawing of him.
"Von Hindenburg" By L Pasetti (done in charcole)
Hello, pics of a helmet I have seen on-line. I copied and pasted some pics to look at.
Do you think this is actual battle damage? or did someone shoot it many times, to make it look more dramatic?? Fantasy damage?? Damage looks old, but could have been done post war, not in battle.
If not, what happened? concentrated MG fire, strafing?
Regards, Steve
Hi everybody. I just joined the forum. This is my first post. I would like to know what this is worth in dollars.
Looks like a "57" 1939 Iron Cross with swastika.
Thanks!!!
My first SS Totenkopf hat pin. Has a small RZM marking with 41 under it, its hard to see.
Looks like the paint has worn of the front but there is still some on the back. Salty just like you guys like them.
Any help or info on this pin would be great. Cheers:b:
