Tornister - E. Luneschloss 1939

Hi, got this today and would just like to show and maybe get some comments. Can anyone tell me more about this maker because every time I google it I get a P. Luneschloss who made blades. The only other one I found was a strap marked E.W.Luneschloss. Also the three pronged swastika is a bit confusing.
Regards Tom
PS - Please excuse the quality of some of the photos, but taken at different times with different cameras.

Question Third Reich field equipment

Can anyone please advise?

Did the Wehrmacht (or other Nazi organizations...HJ etc.) use imported Swiss equipment without Reichszeugmeisterei markings ?

Specifically, I have a Tornister (pony skin pack) signed Ernst Fassler 1940 Appenzell 3, of unknown provenance. I doesn't conform to M34 or M39 specs....being all skin/no canvas.

Given the date, I'm wondering if it saw WW2 service, but I find no RZM markings.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Pickelhaube with fabric chinstrap

Hi all,
As you can see I am trying to get a bit of an imperial German collection together (I also have a few bayonets but they will not fit in the cabinet), the centre piece of which is this newly aquired Prussian ersatz felt Pickelhaube. I am by no means an expert on these items but I have not seen another one with a fabric chinstrap such as this, any ideas?

P.S. I know the Princess Mary tin is a little out of place but its the only place I can display it at the moment! Also, apologies for the ugly de- humidifier in the background. :)

Question What is my ww2 iron cross, hat pin and badge worth?

Hello, this is my first post on this forum. Does anybody know what these items are worth in Pounds? They were given to my family from a German lady which belonged to her father who was in the SS. The letters on back of the hat pin say GES.on the left wing and GESCH. on the right wing, and a number 1 directly behind the swastika. Couldnt photograph the back properly though- sorry! Any information on these items would be greatly appreciated- thanks!

Last passport issued by the Third Reich?

Hi,

Thought of sharing this here.

Possibly one of the last Third Reich reisepass issued, 4 days to the surrender: May 4. 1945 at the Consulate General in Shanghai.Has a Japanese stamp on the front and the interesting section is the stamp of the German Affairs Commission from 1946:

In October 1945, the Chinese government established a German Affairs Commission to deal with the status of Germans, Austrians, and Jews of former German and Austrian citizenship living in China. The Commission decided that the Chinese Foreign Ministry and Ministry of the Interior would have to give explicit approval to allow these foreign nationals to stay in China. To gain this approval, the immigrants needed to present certificates of employment, prove that they were not affiliated with the Nazi Party and its formations or with the German government, and apply to municipal governments for an extended residence permit. Those who could not provide this documentation would be repatriated or kept “under the protection” of the local government. In October 1945, the Chinese government incarcerated all German citizens whom it identified as having worked for or been active in support of the Nazi regime. In December 1945, the Chinese authorities required all Germans, Austrians, and Jews of former German and Austrian citizenship to register with the German Affairs Commission, regardless of political or citizenship status. The holder apparently registered eight months after the first call to register.

Neil.
