Luftwaffe Cap Badge…?

Hey guys,

I have ask for your opinion on this Luftwaffe Cap badge.
This was one of the first pieces i ever bought, and i bought it as being a original...now i have my doubts...

Last week i bumped in to the guy who sold me this badge, and i reminded him that he sold this to me about 5 years ago. and that he claimed to give full refund if it turned out a fake.

So finally after these years of doubt, i now need your verdict on this one..

Thanks in advance

Question Is This Bonehead Real or Fake

I don't know if these are good enough to make even a preliminary determination regarding whether or not bonehead is real.
However maybe some of you guys can discern enough to give me idea if its real or not. I will try to get ahold of camera with decent macro capability and post better photos.

The pins are broken off and there are no markings, but for a first pattern there probably wouldn't be any markings. There is a flaw of some kind under the bottom row of teeth, maybe from a die or maybe from casting ( I hope its not from casting ). To me it looks to thin to be a casting, but I don't have a degree in metallurgy.

Its in very good shape overall, except for the pins, from the stubs they appear to have been rectangular flat. In natural light it appears silver but a bit pitted, when I photo it, it takes on a brass or bronze color, the detail ( the sutures etc. are pretty good, I just can't pick them up with this camera, photographing this stuff is not that simple. ) its very thin and weighs only 2.5 grams, but again the pins are gone and it does not flex at all.

I wish I had a better camera available now. Anyway let me know what you think given what you can see. Thanks

This is an excellent book that really tells the true story of the battle for Moscow. The author had access to archives including NKVD documents and files.

I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone interested in the battle for Moscow.

racial laws in Germany

Hello,

could anyone recommend any webpages dealing with the question of racial laws in Germany?

I know the basics about Nurmberg laws, relevant decrees and some of the other acts etc., but I would like to read something more specific which goes into much detail about the topic and which also covers some more "obscure" acts, laws and decrees and not only the obvious ones..

I have been searching for quite some time but all I can get is the basics and that is all...

Any tips appreciated!
A.

Beretta 1915/1917, cal. 7,65/.32

Enjoy these Beretta 1915/1917, cal. 7,65/.32. One is of the 1918 and the other is of the 1919. The 1918 one was a private purchase of an italian officer of the 1WW. My gunsmith told me that it has never fired.
