Forumites,
I am new here, and only recently found your forum while doing a search for information on RKKA M35 and M43 gymnastroikas. cool militaria I used to be a uniform and weapon collector years ago, but no longer. However, I do love hanging about at the shows and the online community because I still like learning, etc.
I came back to doing living history/reenacting after an absence of a few years, primarily because I somehow infected my son with a bug for the GPW and all things Soviet. ;)
Anyway, I have a great many questions regarding gyms, particularly the M43 model. Most of what I have found out here on my side of the pond tends to come to second hand, and I know no RKKA uniform collectors personally to ask anything. So, if any of you would care to be pestered with questions off-forum (I do not want to clog the bandwidth) please give me a shout and I will wear you out! Thanks for your time and sharing of knowledge here, I've learned a great deal in just a few days. :D

Built during the German occupation,1500 pistols were stamped with the German Army Test Proof. This pistol is 7.65mm or .32acp.The holster pictured is unmarked and for a PPK,but came with the gun.Judging the wear marks in and on the holster they have been together for some time.I find the slide and ejection port very interesting as illustrated. These pistols were used by the German occupying forces.*

**I did not know where else to place this thread since it isn't a Ostfront photo and isn't other Axis militaria. So if this is in the wrong place can an admin please move to the appropriate place**
Hey Everyone,
While going threw pictures of a very old album of my grandfather I found some pictures of different women he had a fancy for. There was one from when he was stationed in Japan after WW2 that has some Japanese on the back of it and I have no idea what it says.
Long story short, can someone who knows Japanese please translate this photograph.
