The letters are in some sort of steel wire, but its build up almost like a necklace...see close up of lettering
The substance on the back i think is not glue bot some sort of gom or rubber

As i am just started taking interrest in the 3 piece armbands i hoped that you could help me out on this one.
Its a 3piece in pretty good condition.
its been offered for 50,- euros.
unfortunatly i think its a fake, but im pretty new to these items so i hoped to hear your opinions...and hope i was right:)
on first glance a few things made alarm bells go of for me..
the swastika is to close to the white center border i think,
also the stitching of the swastika is can be seen on the inside, but if i am correct there should only be stitching from the white center..correct?
Is there anything authentic about the this cap ? I saw a similar one without the insignia on the fake cap thread. Thanks, Al.

I was hoping to get your opinion on this TK.
I been trying to decide for myself, but i just cant seem to make that call for myself yet.
I went thru my collection of pics of known originals an fakes, but i am not convinced of my abbilty to recognize the signs of fake insignia like these yet.
as i browsed to thru all pictures of knows fakes and known originals i really got a mixed feeling on this one
the first 30 minutes i was sure it was a fake, then i stummbled upon a photo wich was posted by a war relics member (F-B) and there were some pretty good simmilarities between the tk's
So the next 20 minutes i was kind of thinking it might be a original..
I like the front, even if it is not as sharp as for example a nice assmann tk..but still i like it
The back just keeps putting me off, i really dont like the prongs on this one, also the stamp i cant really identify

As i am lucky everytime i find something i like it's a fake so here is another one i like but feel like it will end up not good . What do you think ? i was searching the forum ( without success) for thread about how to see the fake German cap on the market ,like the great thread about the fake belt buckle that one member started and was very interesting

I was reading a description of this helmet and it stated that this might be ww2 Italian helmet but the liner could be early one Japanese ???
