Dear Friends,
I have just found this strange cover. It looks like made from zeltbahns, but is with very strange construction. it is made from 2 sheets splinter pattern textile which is painted on both sides on a manner identical with the zaltbahns. there is one snap button painted in dark fieldgrey with stamp "Durabel auto W (or M)"
a friend told me that it's DDR's (east german) acording to clips stamps(1958-1960 and on) but I am not convinsed ... It is dificult for me to belive that East germany have used Zeltbahns to produse such a products so late after the war... need your opinion and help!!!
last picures shows how it looks when it's dressed
not that anyone wishes to view mine, but i cant gain access to my stats/user panel, whats happening, is it a problem with the software, or am i missing something?:o(
My first buy of red army stuff.
Very good price for a first buy.
the booklet looks interesting.
Over the weekend i picked up a mauser 1934 32cal pocket pistol serial number 198XXX, the right side is marked MAUSER-7,65, on the left side is marked WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER A-G OBERNDORF A.N. MAUSER'S PATIENT. the serial number is stamped on the front of the slide, but it is not in a machined recess like others i have seen, also the mauser banner is missing from the side shield right over the safety. gun is all matching numbers including the side shield? is it a commercial model, or just an oddball. it does have wrap around wooden grips, anyone with info would be very helpfull
Sorry if this has already been brought up.
I've just made a custom signature picture for going under my posts on the forum, but every time I upload it for some reason it shrinks down to a very small size, probably only 2 pixels thick and about 10 long. I'm keeping to the rule that it has to be a maximum of 100 by 50 pixels. So is there anything that I can do to sort it out?
Thanks
Danny
Deal or no deal? Seller has no idea if genuine or not and they look a bit new to me but I'm new to this game!
Hers is a photo that a friend of mine had Fritz Langanke send to me. Sorry that my scaner is not working properly and is cutting off parts of my photos. I will try to re-scan it on my sons.
Hello to all
Being a former member Of Uncle Sam's Misguided Children.
I like to collect Marine type items.
I'm restoring a Japanese NLF helmet Now I would like to look for a German Marine helmet , which I beleive it would be a Kriegmarine Right?
If possible could I get some pic's/ text / advice of what I should be looking for.
Thanks In advance
Phil
hello all new guy here looking for some information on a projectile i came across while browsing a local flea market today,,the projectile is made of alluminium and is marked as follows 1936 K-B,first line,,sceond line reads 20 followed by a H over 113 and 1936 again,,theres a waffen amp that appeares to have a WaA 62 the bottom of the projectile screws out and markings on the bottom read AZ8812 first line,,sceond line reads 24e H over 113 and 1936,,there is also a waffenamp that looks like WaA 208 ,,the projectile is 10" long and about 2"s in diameter,,there is a large slotted screw head on the top that looks like where the tip would be screwed in,, any ideas of what it might be for? did the germans use aluminum projectiles? i gave 2 bucks for it and just thought it was an oddity and was one of those gotta have it items ..lol trying the pics hope they work
thanks in advance
