Weekend find. I know its a Russian front, is it real? My gut says it looks good.
Does anybody know what the back says?
Any more info on who made it or any other cool stories would be great.
Thanx for lookin:b:
Hi, just got email w/pics from a seller here in the US that I have dealt with, and got a few good RGD33 pouches from. This is a pile of cap stars different sizes shapes etc. Some appear to be WW2.
I have learned fairly well from reading posts here, and also have purchased a couple different style stars from Dimas. If you read this Dimas,
Please some help here.
I would like to get a few, but want to make sure they are WW2. Some have large H&S, and I do not think they wartime. Some of these have the smaller H&S and are steel, which is probably wartime. I think the steel and tin, with smaller H&S would be good ones? but what about brass stars? Did they have all brass stars in wartime period?
I read your post Dimas back a bit ago about the M35 wartime stars being more rounded or curved, less flat than post war too.
Thanks for any help on these.
Regards, Steve
I bought this today for $15. What rank does this symbolize? Did I get a good deal? What does it stand for?
well guys ive just won this on ebay what do ya think original paint or not :D
hya,
I wondered if enyone could identify these bits i found. we went for a walk the other day to studland beech dunes and i found these in the dunes and saw abit of nature:).I think the bullet is bigger than a normal rifle but i'm not sure . I don't know what the other 2 bits are so i thought i'd post them and see if enyone out there did .Studland and shellbay were used for the only live fire exercise (with all arms ) before D-day.There are a few valatine floating tanks at the bottom off the coast and a big bunker where Churchill,Monty and top brass watched from.
the lizard we saw was a sand lizard (pretty rare, soz admin abit off millata)& i one of me going for a tank ride the other day.:D
it was cool
