SCHUMA Cloth Items fill a kind of mystical niche for me. They are just beautiful & artistic.

My understanding of the Schuma Organization, is that they were essentially Non-Germanic Members serving the Sipo/SD - Polizei in occupied areas (outside of Germany). Primarily in the Baltics and Ukraine. (They filled the manpower void in these areas.) There were German Officers in the ultimate control - but did they wear SCHUMA Cloth? Don't know. The Cloth Items are nothing short of exquisite, with fine machine embroidery & colors. The SCHUMA Motto of
"Faithfullness, Bravery & Obedience" is found on the Patches.

I got lucky early on in collecting and found 2 sets of Shoulder Boards & 3 Patches.

Dear Visitors,

can anybody give details for the following volkssturm units?

I try to recocnize the batallion numbers and ther commanders in 1945

my try is to get the numbers of the batallions, places of unit actions and there commanders, also like dates of unit members and anything else.

Koblenz
Leverkusen
Opladen
Köln
Siegburg

also any other details concerning the volkssturm in late march and april 1945 in the areas of the former ruhr pocket and bridgehead of remagen are from further interesst for me.

any help is very wellcome

I have a luger with a proof mark that I cannot find anywhere. I think it may be a post war east german mark. It is on a 1914 erfurt. the mark is on the left receiver. it is an "N" on its side over a shield like a tri color helmet decal. inside the shield there is a symbol very much like an infinity sign over which is crossed a pick like symbol. I have looked in constanza's book and in lugers at random. Can anyone help? Sorry, I can't add pictures cuz ain't smart enough to know how to do. Sambo
