Control of de-activated guns

This is relevant to all gun owners in the UK.The Home Office have published the consultation document on the future of de-activated guns here: Controls on deactivated firearms | Home Office

Please download this document and submit a reply, to make your views felt. One of the proposals is that pre 95 deacts have to be brought up to current standards, at our own cost and loss of value, not to mention the "destruction" of a historic item.
thanks Peter.

Auction: Relic FN Mauser

Very nice condition relic from France, the bottom one on the picture.
The bolt is loose, and the rifle is complete, but wont fire ever again as nature deactivated it.
The second one for sale is the M89 model Mauser, missing some of its wood, but bolt is loose and trigger works.
Also deactivated by nature, and was found in Belgium.
Make me a offer and we will work something out.

Luftwaffe Medical cap

I post my rarest cap in the Luftwaffe branch, in my collection, this is a extremely rare Medical cap, with the name and regiment of this nco soldier.

I have never seen a other real specimen, or just in the Gene collection, maybe Bob Lyon has a other specimen ?....?
thank you for your opinion
Sebastien.

Fire Sevice ???

A recent find North of Hanover, I think its right as I didn't pay much and it was with a right as rain Luftschutz scuttle helmet.
I believe it is Fire service in the transition to Third Reich, probably 1935/6? I'm sure someone out there will have the exact spec.
Looks like it had a comb at some point and it has been removed and the holes filled.
It is marked with a sitting lion over DRP and the word Thale with a large N to the right.
I will try fighting with the photos again and see if I can get them on site.

ww2 generator

i have a ww2 generator in my barn and i am considering selling this to a serious collector it has always been dry stored and with little work will run Mainly connecting the water pipes a quick weld on the exhaust and a strong arm to turn it over the control box is incomplete. i am hesitant to sell this as it is in very good condition and ive always said i would do the project myself. anyway years later .....
so i am wondering what sort of value this item is worth if i decide to sell ..... it will only get sold to someone whop will keep it i have no interest in selling if it is going to be resold ..... i would like to find a collector that will appreciate and care for this ...... anyway a couple of pics.... aaah the only way i can show you the pics is to put the imasges on a blog ive just started so here goes.....all the original brass plates are on the machine including an a4 size brass instruction plate on the control box lid anyway have a look
