Hi Guys, please don't take this the wrong way. But I feel I need to make a statement on forum conduct.
I regard this as a serious militaria disscussion forum. I want it to attract people from all over the world with a common interest and passion for the subject. They can be a new member with a newly found interest or a more seasoned collector with decades of collecting experience. All have something to offer.
I want the forum to be a friendly place which encourages polite conversation and exchange of ideas. Now, I like a laugh and a bit of fun as much as anyone, but guys please keep this in check. Threads soon become derailed and just become a joke. If you wish to fool around with forum friends, please transfer these kind of extended conversations to PM's. A forum guest or new member can very easily be put off from joining in by these type of threads. I have looked at other forums and not joined simply because of these "joke" threads.
Now, before anyone asks we are NOT going to have a separate forum where anything goes. I have watched other forums go down the toilet by them having these kind of sub forums. Don't ask for this because it is not going to happen. "Period" as my American friends say.
I don't wish to come across as a kill joy, I want the forum to be fun and enjoyable. But remember it costs money to run and it is not a playground.
Cheers, Ade.
Here is some new pictures of the new PTRD Bag I found for $40.00, the fellow I got it from had no ideal what it was. Different variation from the other one has 2 stamps in the leather and 1 on the strap but unreadable. Notice it has belt loops for a belt on the back. On the inside of the pouch 4 compartments for rounds and the spare compartment is in the center between the 2 piece of fabric. Has a leather strap and is all but identical in size and shape.
Hi there,
Being new to the forum I thought I would ask whether some cuff titles I have aquired are genuine - they do look like it but I am no expert on german kit. Sorry about the pictures.
Thanks
Steve
Does anyone know how much this helmet is worth?
Thanks :)
Here's another one for you. Stewy
My interest is collecting pieces relating to the early NSDAP . Here's some cards that I have relating to the Putsch. If any members have any additional ones please post them.
Who wouldn't want these two beauty's? I believe they are RC also.
A rare color for an Overhoff SS production since typical production by this maker was usually silver.
I would like to know who owns other examples made by Overhoff green painted? Condition does not matter. Just need to be Green Painted and been made by Overhoff only.
