SS DD M16 helmet Pocher decals

I'am just bought this helmet, but it's not in my hands yet. I will pick up it in my next trip to Lithuania. Unfortunately I have not other pictures than this. Helmet was cost not too much and got it much cheaper than DD Heeres one. I just got description by speaking with the guy by phone and that guy supply me with other stuff he got from attics etc. As from the pictures it looks like proper Pocher decals, but I don't like personally crackings on the decal as it looks like the base lacquer was not fastened underneath of decals, when the helmet goes to use. Let's look it and I would hear your opinions

WW1 Tank Badge?

I have just been given/swapped this badge. I have my doubts as I am sure these are as faked as WW2.

The issue is this pal insists it was his Grandfathers.

Now I don't want to hurt his feelings as his intentions are good.

He has in the past given me some WW2 stuff that was not right but he is generaly not aware.

I would like to hear what the forums opinion on it is please.

Thanks in advance:)

Hours of War

Hi there!

First of all, I would like to thank admins of this forum (Dimas) for allowing me to post a new thread.

We are developing a new kind of Massively Multiplayer War Strategy game, playable on browser. Inhouse testing has already begun, and we are finalizing our own forum, which should be ready very soon. More information is available here:

Hours of War| Normandy 1944.

World War II is the subject we start with. The whole war is not covered, game starts from the beaches of Normandy 1944. The battle of Tali-Ihantala 1944 (Karelian Isthmus, Red Army´s great Summer Offensive) is also under development.

At the moment we are finalizing the beaches of Normandy, so Alpha testing phase is coming very soon. The final version of the game should be ready next autumn. As this is a browser playable MMO game, we will continuously bring new content to the game after the launch.

I post this thread to you, because, normally when someone is interested in history of war, therefore strategy games might interest people also. Historical accuracy combined with unit amount, equipment, supply and so on, challenge all the virtual-Patton/-Rommel to rewrite history.

If you want any kind of information, you can send me either private message, or you can send it straight to our game info address:
info@hoursofwar.com

I find your forum very interesting and it is loaded with good information.

Looking forward to your reply, many thanks in advance!

Best Regards from Finland
