Greetings,I received these medals as a gift for helping a friend, was wondering what they are actually and are they valuable,I tried to find out in my limited books and online, but don't know what to look for? I like them very much and think the german medal "bug" has bitten me,they were received from U.S.WW2 vet.Your opinions and expertise is greatly appreciated...Tom
I open a new pool about your favorite or best cap collector on the German army in WW II.
With the best knowledge and eye...
thank for your opinion
Sebastien.
My first post so please excuse any mistakes. I was wondering if any of you had any experience/knowledge of the situation regarding relic weapons and deactivation in the UK ? I understand you can only own deactivated firearms with certificates unless you are a FAC holder, fair enough, but does this also apply to obvious relics such as the dug up rifle remnants and pieces of weapons that you sometimes see for sale ? If for example I bought a relic rifle in France does it need a UK deactivation cert ( I haven`t yet but I may do in future )
Thanks for your time guys....
PS - Love to see some relic weapon pics if you guys have any...
Saw this old bomb today in front of a Historic House in Albemarle, NC.. The medal tag just states (Dropped 1927)... I think it is a WW1 German Bomb that was given to the town of Albemarle as a souviner.. Anyone else have an ID on this odd bomb...BILL
Hi guys, lets try this one, again vote original or fake and if you wish comment on why you think what it is please do so, this one is a SS buckle marked 36/39 :D
