French firing range

found this site withsome cool looking wrecks in france.I think it's in cherbourg/normandy area but i'm no good reading french so maybe someone could understand it better than me.There are afew nice examples of sherman, one with a large turret(i think it is a jumbo) ,but my fav has to be the greyhound. It looks like the french are not great shots :p as there nearly all in one peice and in not bad shape(for a firing range)

Proposal…New section for trenchart

As the title suggests how about a new section for trench art?

There are few areas on the www to deal with it specifically that i know of (1 yahoo group devoted to it....but it is dormant most of the time, and several web pages which again dont change much) and what is trench art if not war relics?

Trench art encompasses All conflicts and is not limited to decorated shell cases.

As you have probably gathered i'm predominantly a trench art collector but with an interest in all things militaria related.

I'd love to hear other opinions on it

Hermann knoller?

Hi Ben, I picked up this buckle a while back and just assumed it was a Hermann Knoller. Is this right? The K. in the H.K. logo looks different & to me the eagles head doesn't look like other Knollers. The colour looks o.k. for circa 1941 production so it's a shame there's no tab which would have answered my question!!

Cheers,

Richard.

More pics to follow.
