Howdy guys,
"Found in my grandparents' old house", that what the seller says...
This would be my first buckle, if I win the auction. What do you think, should I go for it?
Thank you all
I initially thought this was a repro, but after looking at it carefully, I am not so sure, anymore. On the back it says "GES. GESCH" Then at the bottom it says " A. H. 30.1.39" The end of the pin looks like it was cut with a pair of side cutters! But that could have happened AFTER it was made. What do you think? Thanks for any help.
Hi all!
i'm new to this forum and a couple of others and was hopeing for some advice before i sell a few bluecloths and pickelhaubes, long story short i was left a military collection a few years back when my father passed away but was left no details regarding values etc and the only knowledge i have got is what my father told me which isn't much. unfortunatley now i have to sell some items to raise cash very soon so i'm hopeing i can get the right info or even find some buyers. so here's my 2 blue cloths which are both in lovely condition and have nice looking liners, hope you like!

I normally leave my sword blades as found, I wipe them down and apply a light coating of wax to them to keep them from rusting any more. Now I have picked up a blade which have some light rust and what I call age spots. Is there any way to clean the blade, with out damaging it?
Looking to purchase Red Stars for caps, i.e. M22, etc., as well as World War II issued Guard's Badges. Please send me a private message if you have any to offer.
I am finally able to add a Second World War period issued Guard's Badge to my collection! I really like these badges. . . Please feel free to post your examples for comparison, as well as any comments or observations you may have. . .
What is the approximate date of this NKVD star? I presume it is a cap star, but on what sort of cap would it be used? Thank you for any information you can provide. . .
