Can anyone ID these 4 Breast Eagles?

I have these four Breast Eagles, and am unsure what they are. I WAS TOLD that the ones on the bottom were Italian-made. The Upper dark brown one MAY be OT, but I'm not certain. The other upper one MAY be OT, too. What do you think? Thanks for the help.

Help ID an SMLE butt disc

Hello

I own a deactivated Indian SMLE dated 1942 and have been trying without success to identify several markings on the butt. The butt disc reads WTD 88 as can be seen in the picture below.

Another marking on the wood itself reads KA 5 43 as seen (just about) in the picture below.

Any ideas on what these mean? Which unit it could have been issued to?

Looking for some info

Old Navy Chief once told me a reason for the black crescent shape on the cases, boxes, or any package of food stuffs used by the US and Allied forces. This was like 40 years ago and I have slept since I heard the tale. Does anyone know the story as to Why its a crescent and where it came from? I would really appreciate it as I have a talk to make at the WWII museum in a few months and this would be an excellent oolie. I am thinking the story took place either around WWI or just prior. I could sure use the help.

I am not worried about C's K's or MRE's just the black crescent on ALL packaging of food stuffs.

Thanks in advance.

18 pdr Shrapnel round

This is an 18lber Shrapnel round i have just finished today,
Its been an on off job for about 5 years ,it started as an expended relic projectile,At first it looked in reasonable condition after years in the ground it still retained traces of the original paint and markings,,unfortunately this all fell off revealing the usual heavily pitted body.Luckily i had taken some photos before it started to fall apart. The body was filled and repainted with the markings duplicated as per the originals mentioned before, all the extra parts i picked up over the years ,,No80 fuze, central tube pusher plate ,original tin charge cup.Today i finished it off by cutting the cartridge and replicating the cordite .Its taken a long time but im pleased with the outcome
