Afternoon Guys
I was given the attached Lebel bayonet last year which was excavated in the Argonne area when pipelines were being laid. As you can see it is still half in its scabberd but the blade and scabbard are so badly rusted each time you pick it up small pieces fall off ! Can it be saved ? Any treatments etc ?
All suggestions welcome !

Ive had this helmet for 5 years and hav no help on what it was .....please help!
Here I will make a small tutorial about them.
First about the fake pips. They are made in well known type only. Originals in that shape must be magnetic: steel covered with fat layer of brass. Due of time some of the originals can change the color, but never lost their magnetyic properties.
Here is the picture:
Left is original magnetic scuare, and right is the copy
An interesting little gun.Not my favorite .32,but an important part of an Axis pistol collection.
Hi Guys.
