ha ha ha they treated my helmet as if it was a 1976 Camaro

anyways this was my first helmet and it was given to me when I was 19 by a co-worker at the time, the guy was in the aryan nation and did some kind of pagan wierdo rituals lighting fires in the helmet (wierdo) aparently it burned a hole in it and then he bondo'd it up!

I got this lid for 30 bucks a few years ago, I know its not anything special but it was my first and the closest I could get to a german helmet at the time, I would love to know what it is and when it was made.

This is a strange picture for me. This picture comes from a German soldier. If these are Soviet citizen, I am wondering why they are still armed?

I found this in the garage of a guy that scraps steel for a living.
He said his grandfather brought it home in 45-46.
It's been juggled around in the garage ever since.
