Question Branch of Service

Hi the photo below is of Yefreitor Vasili Batalov. From his dark shoulder boards, I've been told he's either Artillery or a tank man. Can someone identify his branch of service.

Please help idenitify this strange spoon.

I'm fairly convinced it is German because it has German chicken sctraches on it--one says "Machs gut Alter", etc... I can't read the rest before I get some silly putty. But, seriously, where is this spoon from? It doesn't look like the typical army spoons.

Does anyone know what that little engraving says? I can't even figure out the cursive. I can't get my camera to take a better photo. But, beside that, it says -.88.

Czech Legion Uniform

This was acquired in Czechoslovakia in the 1980's. It is a Czech Legion tunic and breeches with insignia for Regt 7.

The matching breeches have a triangular stamp and a label with "1" and three Chinese or Kanji Japanese characters. I presume this comes from Vladivostok when it was under Japanese control.

Can somebody tell me more about the PPsH-41 ammo pouch in the picture? Is it Soviet (WWII/GPW) manufacture and what about the stamp?
