About this button... From NSDAP or diplomatic uniforme, or what ???
Good Morning People ...... I hope you are all well.
I have seen various markings and codes for the visor eagle but one I have not come across yet is M1/167 is this a good code for a visor cap eagle ?

Here is an image from my fine colleague David Bunde of some historical merit.
It will make you collectors of steel helmets very sad. The date and place of this event is lost in the reaches of time. Perhaps some of you know the image or can identify the officer in question and whether the helmet in his hand was damaged by an accident on the firing table or was purposefully conducted as a ballistic test of SSTV headwear. Who knows?
Whatever the true story of this intriguing image, one less SS helmet existed at the moment this picture was taken to gladden the hearts of collectors seventy years hence.
Happy headwear

A very nice SA Dagger with original Hanger, blade marked RZM M7/13. In fine condition throughout. Blade has some spots.
US $650 Item is in the USA and can be shipped worldwide unless restricted by local law
It's not much, but I really like restoring them. This one I picked up last week on a battlefield, and is in very good condition, due to the smooth SS type frag sleeve that prevented it to rust through.
It still has alot of its original paint, and a friend of mine has given me a really neat wooden handle for it, what he found in a bunker some years ago, dated 1941. So it will be complete again, and will look great on one of my WH soldiers on display.
Because there was no Sprengkapsel placed in the granade it was no problem to open it up to empty it. Now its filled with clay for the weight.
Those Russians sure were ingenious!
So guys, I think that is important one.
