Found these gas masks…Need help please!

I just got these two gas masks and was wondering what war they are from....WW1 or WW2 also the actual names of each one and what they could possibly be worth. Also, after doing some research on the net, i have yet to see any other canisters like these with the horizontal lines. All the other ones ive seen have the vertical lines (metal trash can look) They have original canisters and unused filters!

PLEASE HELP!!! (I have more pics)

1st pattern pith helmet

Hey gang...Thought I'd post something a little different. It's my first pattern German pith helmet. What I like about this one is that the sweat stains are still present on the front of the helmet. I'd love to know where this one was used. I've also added some sun goggles to the lid to "add some character"....;)

Cheers!

Rob

My First Imperial German EKII Award Document

Gents,

I'm certainly happy to report that through my Sister in Law's kind gift of an Ebay GIft Cert. I was able to buy my first EKII Award Document. I have never ventured into collecting Award Documents, but I have a funny feeling this won't be my last. Any additional info you can provide on this one would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Joel

FA 1918 .45 steel ammocan

saw a perfect condition steel ammocan, essentially the same as one from vietnam era, excepting that the green was more olive, less brown, marked 'FA 18 .45 ball' in normal yellow, did they use steel cans then or is this repacked? i was surprised at the condition and fact the box was not wood.

General’s Cap

I have this cap in my collection for about 20 years. It was acquired in Germany.

Need help! Soldiers wearing gas masks: anyone have photos?

I realise the masks were seldomly worn and as a consequence, photos must be pretty rare. Well, I can't find many at least!
Anyhow, I'm particularly interested in photos of Russian soldiers wearing their masks. Somehow, I think it's a long shot, but why not try?

And if this is the wrong place for this topic, please let me know... I'm new to the forum, just getting to know the place! :)

M40 SD Heer helmet

First helmet I've shown was a hit....here's another...This is my most recent helmet purchase (last summer). Nice M40SD Heer helmet that was a vet bring back. Nice thing is that when the vet dropped it off at the antique store, he left a card inside the liner with his name on it and where the helmet was taken. I did some research on Walherscheid - looks like it all adds up:

Anyhoot....Here are some pics. I have not had any luck in locating the veteran or getting any history on him. The hunt continues.

Cheers!
