Rare item SS rider:shok_yikes: holding a Reichskriegflag and setting on a wind-up horse with decorative saddle blanket. The toy is made out of tin and when wound up moves along, has key and is in A-1 condition with now flaws. The maker is "Elefant" and stands 14.5cm high - colorful and Rare item.
Could use some help in placing a price on this as Im not a toy collector.
Thanks
Horst
Some nice items ground dug from trenches around the Geienkirchen area
Found some nice personal items including a cap badge, tunic button and webbing clips all around some trenches. Some of the trenches were very well preserved.
Found alot of live ordnance inclusing two 36 grenades, incendiary round from an aircraft, lots of live 303s some still with cloth belt and a live 3 inch mortar. I would be interested if anyone has had any experience of searching this area or any info on units that fought there. It was predominantly the 43 rd Wessex Div that fought in this battle.
Can anyone help identify the ordnance: I have found several of them in the same area in the Hurtgen. The pics are detailed in my album. Any suggestions would be helpful
