I want you to pay attention on this red canister. It has original paint underneath. I agonized myself with cleaning it using nitro. Nitro is good, but very slow. But then I remembered that brake oil corodes paint. It's agressive.
All you have to do is to dip peace of cloth in oil and leave it day or two on piece thaht you want to clean. After that, you take clean piece of cloth and clear it. Or wit hot water under pressure.

I wouldn't recommend this for cleaning helmets. Decals may go away also!!!:shok_yikes:

My “new” canteens

I bought this canteens and mess tin few days ago.
I don't know for this red one and for mess tin. Mess tin doesn't have any markings and that's why I think it's yugoslavian post war... I would like to hear other opinions...

ZF41 ar43

I got this this past year, nothing to compare with the rifles posted here but I like it as a representation piece. I think it is an actualy ZF41 mounted ar43 that was reblued. The scope #s dont match the rifle serial and I re-stocked it with a Norway capture from Mario. I would like for it to be a little darker but This will do.
