I would very much appreciate any opinions on the following two black wound badges. After having a near miss with a Silver wound badge I am starting to worry about other items.

Typically I go for the overall look of a wound badge in determining authenticity but what are the best attributes to look for?

Both these badges have a needle style pin, but each has a different style catch. Was there a lot of difference in these set ups?

Hi everyone, I am interested in this EK1. Clearly the photographs are poor, but they are the best I can get. Is it possible to tell if this is a good one on the basis of these pictures? It is apparently unmarked, and there are no markings on the reverse of the pin. Any help appreciated. Doug
