Weekend in Warsaw

I’m off to Warsaw in June for a couple of days so want to cram as many WW2 museum visits as possible into it

The Warsaw Uprising Museum and the Polish Army Museum are a must, is there anything else I shouldn’t miss?

Many thanks

Nick

Need help! Unknown Dagger Appears to be Pre WWI help with identification

I came across this dagger that is about to come up for sale. I think it may be pre WWI German but not 100 percent sure. If any one could help identify it and give some information I would greatly appreciate it. This is the only picture I have.

Thanks, Rob

Question 4 Eagles for identification and authentication - wisdom appreciated!

Hey all,

Here’s a few pieces from that big haul a couple of days ago.

I was told that the upper left piece was a Panzer Officer’s Eagle and that the hand-made looking example was also an officer’s eagle. Admittedly, I was a bit brash with this purchase, but for what i paid for 50+ pieces, and given the pedigree of the bulk of the stuff I bought from this collector, I couldn’t say no. Mods, I can post individual pics of each insignia after we suss them out, but I figured this would be easier to do in groups of four since there’s a lot of them.

Question Frank & Reif Panzerkampfabzeichen in Silber…Polished?

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if any of you have seen a finish like this on this type (F&R) of badge before? Looks highly polished to me, or is it OK? Thanks for the help. Bob

Need help! Opinions please on this Heer helmet

Hello all, I am purchasing this helmet from another member and I am already pretty sure on it but it’s always smart to get second/third opinion. Looks to me to be a very nice Heer with textured paint and all in nearly 100% condition. Hopefully I won’t be disappointed. Thanks in advance for all opinions.
