small repair to an M33 liner

I’m pretty new to the field of ‘repairing’ or any kind of restoration of lids and usually I am pretty against it (beyond a dusting off). But I was wondering for this, if it would be a simple case of threading through a bit of string to hold the two pieces together?

… Scarce, early PNF pin badge ? Any info?

Hello…

Has anyone seen this one before? The back is scraped but enough visible to show it is an early "Lorioli & Castelli… Milano via Anzani" maker’s mark. Also note invisible to the naked eye is what looks like a scratched reference number of sorts on the back along the rim below the pin circle… (see my photos)… looks like 101.H3-24A (or) 101.113-24A

Thanks in advance for your help if you have seen it before or know of this one…

Arm band

Can anyone tell me anything about this arm band (if, indeed, it IS and arm band)? All I know is that it was brought back from the Far East by a British officer after the war. From the combination of Japanese and Indonesian writing on it, I assume it dates to the Japanese occupation of the Netherlands East Indies. Other than that, I’m clueless!
