I’ve noticed that some World War II-dated British shell dressing bags have a black square on the top flap, with "BR" or "BR 1" stenciled over it, rather than the usual "Shell dressings" marking. Are these British marks or evidence of use by other Allied nations (Norway, etc.)? Thanks!
I would like to buy Formans guide to third reich german awards…and their values 3rd edition
So I bought this helmet from a army surplus shop in Oulu, Finland this tuesday, and there was a sticker on the shelves which stated that some may be german made helmets (Finland started manufacturing its own helmets like this one in the fifties), and I’m not so sure if it is finnish or german. And while I’m here, I’ll post pics of the cool finnish assault rifle bayonet which I also bought.
