My only WWI item.
I thought I would share my only World War I item, I have had it for a couple years, my neighbour got it at an auction a long time ago and since he does not collect militaria he used it when he went fishing.
It is marked with the owner’s name, which I think reads: S-1207, Smith Rosevellt/Roosewellt(Very hard to read).
And he it is, in all it’s pride: My 1918 dated US Canteen:
