Greetings All,

At last years S.O.S. I aquired a ttropical field gear bug. Finally I have my completed set sans gasmask and can. The set hasa nice overal wear to it. The bayonet, messkit, canteen, and "Y" straps are all matching and 1941 dated.

I also picked up a nice tropical rucksack which I will post later.

I just won that helmet on ebay and the description stated it was a Japanese civil defense ww2 .For the price i paid $20. if it end up not that i wont mind i am just a bit more curious now that i won it by pure luck after loosing on my last 7 helmet lolllllllll! The marking is not japanese so i am wondering ....
So thanks to the people who can shed light on this little piece of history .

From this document, anyway can identify the one who signed it in 1934? would there be a list oif people working at the Reichskanzlei?
