Heres an instant collection of six awards, five(5) Hitler Youth awards for various athletic competition. All five are to the same individual, three are in gold oakleaf indicating 1st place, one in siilver for second place and one in bronze. There is also an award certificate to the same individual from the NS Leibesubung (DRL) for another athletic activity. It should be noted that three of the Hitler Youth awards are still in the original yellow paper sleeves.
Possibly thinking of selling -

Pictures of the notorious Oskar Dirlewanger don't surface that often, So I thought I'd share one with you all
Just looking at him, sends shivers to the bone, He looks kinda odd :D
Hi Guys, this is a lowest grade Luftwaffe marksmans lanyard issued for shooting skills. The insignia is well detailed and is die struck. The back of the knot is covered with Luftwaffe blue woolen cloth. These badges were only available to enlisted men and NCO's.
This was a nice little buy for £10 from a army surplus shop some years ago now.
Cheers, Ade.

Hi Guys, these respirators will never be rare as they were issued in their millions to every adult in Great Britian proir to and during WW2. Around 30 million were made. Thankfully they were never used in anger!
They came in a carboard box which should have been carried at all times. At the outbreak of war and for the first year or two everyone did. Optional private purchase carrying bags or tins were available commercially.
If buying one of these, always go for an example in good condition. The rubber will often have perished due to bad storage. The usual warning, as with all WW2 era gas masks, about the dangers of asbestos applies. Hand with care and NEVER try it on.
This example from my collection is dated 1938 and has the original owners address written on the box lid. I was kindly given this one by a neighbour when I first started collecting when I was 15.
Cheers, Ade.
Heres a RMBO tunic worn by Government Officials in the occupied eastern territories. Most of these in collections are piped in silver but this one has mat gilt piping with the silver RMBO eagle buttons on the four pocket tunic, the interior of the tunic has the dagger slit .
The last picture relects my silver piped RMBO tunic for comparison.

Hi Guys, I bought this badge 30 years ago for £16, which was about the going rate for any assault badge back then. I used to buy a badge a week back then. How times change!
This badge has an old repair to replace the catch. I am sure it is period replacement and it was like that when I bought the badge and was oxidised then.
The badge is a typical later war example made from zink.
Cheers, Ade.
