Question real or fake?

Can anyone tell by looking, is this real or fake?
I got this around 20 years ago, when an uncle passed away, I would have been about 14-15. He was a "Harley Dude", and had lots of stuff like this, the family let us kids grab some odds and ends -like this skull -out of a shoe box.
It could be real, I remember he had a lot of valuable war memorbilia (German Lugers, medals, etc.).
I just recently learned that it's a German "Death's Head" that the SS wore, how cool! I just thought it looked cool, it has spent the last 20 years on my guitar strap.
Anyway, there are no markings on the back, just kind of a dirty rough surface. Someone has (crudely) soldered a safety pin to the back.

P51-D Mustang

This one gets my vote for best looking piston engine fighter of WW2. And it was no slouch in battle either.

Lw m35, “ex-camo”

Hi all,

I pulled the trigger on this one. To me everything looks (and smells :D) ok.
It looks like it had some nice green/yellow (light brown) camo. It's quite pitted, but there are some places where you can clearly see the original LW blue/grey paint underneath the camo. I can't seem to find any maker or lot nr stamps on the rim (too pitted).
There are traces of 2 decals, the party shield being the most obvious. The eagle looks like the early type. The helmet is named to "Hartle" (anyone knows where I can look this name up?). The liner is very worn. Inside the crown of the helmet shell, there seems to be a very faded oval stamp, but I can't seem to get it on photo. I'll have to mess around with the light to do that. I surely hope this helmet is ok, but if not, I dind't spend much money. Enough with the talking, here are some pictures.

Enoy, and if you have questions, remarks or you want more photo's, please feel free to ask.

Jakke
